Debbie Floyd | Conference Operations Lead

Debbie FloydDebbie Floyd is a mom and grandmother who is passionate about God’s Word and walking with women and girls as they discover life-changing truths from Scripture. Born in Texas, Debbie is one of four daughters of missionary parents. Ministry life provided frequent opportunities to live in new places, so Debbie discovered early on that home is where God sends you. She and her husband, Doug, experienced that reality first hand as church planters in Texas and then as missionaries living in Bolivia, South America. For thirty-five years, Debbie has enjoyed teaching and leading women and girls while serving as a pastor’s wife, missionary and in partnership with LifeWay Christian Resources and the International Mission Board. Debbie loves people and laughter, especially when it involves time with family, friends or her eight grandchildren. She lives in Manakin Sabot, Virginia, and you can find her on Twitter @LivinJoyful.

Courtney Silberman | Keynote Speaker

Courtney SilbermanCourtney Silberman is a wife, homeschool mother of two children, and the founder of Encouraging Women for Christ, a ministry dedicated to the spread of the gospel and to Bible teaching for women and girls. She has a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from the University of Richmond and a master’s degree in theological studies from Liberty University. She has nine years of experience teaching women’s and girls’ Bible study groups. Courtney has authored two Bible studies and three books, which seek to meet each woman and girl where they are on their spiritual journey. Courtney enjoys baking, collecting scented candles, horseback riding with her daughter, and fishing with her husband and son. Her family lives in the Richmond, Virginia area.

Abigail George | Keynote Speaker

Abigail GeorgeAbigail George is a follower of Christ who has been called by God to teach His Word. She helps women dive deeply into Scripture so they can know it for themselves, live it and share it with others. She was born and raised in St. Thomas, USVI, as the youngest of six children of a local pastor and his wife. She received her theological training at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where she earned a master of divinity in Christian education. Abigail has joyfully served the Lord in various leadership roles in the women’s ministry at Grove Avenue Baptist Church.  She now leads a community group of women there in a weekly Bible study. The Lord also blesses her each year with opportunities to serve through her teaching, the women of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in St. Thomas, USVI. Abigail lives in Richmond, Virginia.

LaVonne Winter | Keynote Speaker

LaVonne WinterDefined by her “desperate dependence” on Christ, the Lover of her soul, LaVonne’s fervent prayer is that He would use her heart to convey His.

As a pastor’s wife, mom, mentor, brand new grandma, friend, neighbor, student and teacher of the Word, she walks in that place of striving and struggles that are familiar to each of us. Yet she is ever mindful of the “more” we all long for — the sacred romance that woos and beckons us into an “intimacy with the Almighty” that He desires for us to experience.

Connecting with the hearts and lives of women and girls has been a life passion, and LaVonne has been involved in the leadership of women’s ministries in Virginia and Florida for forty years.

She and her husband, Ken, embrace life in the beauty of central Virginia, have two married children and a precious new grandson.

LaVonne ministers, speaks and teaches as He directs to those He places before her. It is her joy to join God in His activity wherever and however He leads.

Isaiah 43:18-19 are her life verses: “Do not ponder things of the past for behold, I will do something new. Will you not be aware of it? Even now it will spring forth. I will make roads in the wilderness and streams in the desert.”
